Good Morning Friends,
I just went over my notes for this Sunday. I am very excited about diving into the Spiritual Discipline discussion together. I believe this will be a POWERFUL Sunday in your Christian journey. REMEMBER that on Saturday night you turn the clocks back an hour. And then on Sunday morning arrive a little early as we will start to take pictures for our new directory! See you on Sunday morning. I pray that you have a Kingdom opportunity weekend!

“For, “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.”- 1 Peter 1:24-25
Good Morning my Friends,
I want to thank those of you who took the time to comment on this verse yesterday. I cannot tell you what an encouragement that is to me. It is always important to keep a verse in context when you seek its meeting. Peter, in chapter one, is calling us to live a Holy life (The Kingdom Life). When you hear the phrase “Word of God” we always think of the Bible. The scripture is the Word of God for sure, but the word of God is also his character. The character of the Lord will stand forever! When we live the Kingdom Life, we live out the character of God. It is this life that was preached to those in the early church, it is this life that we are called to live. Remember what we said on Sunday, we can NOT live this life by our own strength, but only by laying OUR WAY down, (hanging the black shirt on the cross) and embracing the Life that Christ won for you. Paul says it this way, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
