Good Morning Friends,
Super Sunday is only 3 days away….and NO I am not talking about the Super Bowl, but the Super Sunday at Freshstart. This Sunday we will have a GREAT time of celebration as we lay out how Freshstart will look in 2020! Don’t miss this Sunday, it will be POWERFUL for you!
“Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.”- Mark 9:35

Many times we read a verse like this and can become the maid for everyone. Jesus did not say we would be a maid, but that we should SERVE. Sometimes serving means NOT doing anything for a person. Some people just need to learn to take responsibility on their own and the best way you can serve them is humbly get out of the way! Do not get caught up in trying to fix everything…..but allowing God to use you or move you out of the way where he sees fit!
Keep your Eyes on the SON today and REMEMBER….NOTHING can happen today that you and God can’t handle! See you tomorrow….plan to join us Sunday!

Good Morning Friends!
Are you ready for a GREAT DAY? Some of us are facing some tough situations right now and it is very easy to lose focus and even heart! Remember these words of the apostle Paul:
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”- Ephesians 6:12-13
The enemy has been defeated on the cross of Calvary!!!!!! Do not let him win the battle in your mind and heart! This morning as you start the day literally work through in your mind “putting on the armor” of God! Then you will be able to stand your ground….the ground that says, “I am a blessed child of God and I can live with confidence knowing that nothing can happen today that God and I can’t handle!
You are being prayed for today! Have a Great one! Make plans to join us this Sunday. It is going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott

Good Morning Friends
It is a JOY to write Freshbread each morning! I am always encouraged throughout the day by E-mails that I receive from day to day. I know that many of you are located in many different areas of the country and world. Thank you for sharing this week how important Freshstart is for you each day. If this is the case for you, and you live far from Freshstart, I would like to ask you to join us in supporting the ministry of Freshstart. I am well aware that this is a tough economic time for many, and at these times one of the places that struggles the most is a church or other non-profit organizations. If Freshbread is meaningful to you and you are unable to attend Freshstart, would you be willing to join us in supporting this ministry? You can go to our website, www.freshstartchurch.com, and make a tax-free donation. For those who sign up for a regular donation of $25.00 a week or more, I would like to send you a copy of Rob Bell’s Book, Velvet Elvis, and Athol Dickson’s book, The Gospel According to Jesus. Thank you so much for prayerfully considering joining in the support of the ministry here so that things like Freshbread can continue to be a blessing to so many. THANK YOU!

Ephesians 5
1Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
I believe God will give you opportunities today to imitate him…and people will be watching! I am praying for you, live with your eyes wide open.

For those of you who do live in the area, did I remind you to be on time this Sunday? See you then!
