Today’s FreshBread – November 30
Today’s Reading is Numbers 5, Psalm 39, Song of Sol. 3, and Hebrews 3
Today’s Key Verse: Hebrews 3:6-8
6But Christ, the faithful Son, was in charge of the entire household. And we are God’s household, if we keep up our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. 7That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today you must listen to his voice. Don’t harden your hearts against him as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested God’s patience in the wilderness.
Our Hope is in Christ, not in what Christ will do for us but in Christ Himself. We have to sit with that statement for a while for we are so interested in what Jesus can do for us that we get way ahead of Him. We expect him to act in the way we think best and when he does not we harden our heart by turning away from Him (not seeking the intimacy in Him). So le t me ask you, where are you today? Just seeking to be with Him? What do what YOU want Him to do? To hardening your heart because he hasn’t…Remember our HOPE is found IN Him! Have a great day…hope to see you tonight as we worship and study as the body of Christ at FreshStart!

Today’s FreshBread – November 29
Today’s Reading is Numbers 4, Psalm 38, Song of Solomon 2, and Hebrews 2
Today’s Key verse: Song of Solomon 2:15
15Quick! Catch all the little foxes before they ruin the vineyard of your love, for the grapevines are all in blossom.
The Song of Solomon is one of the most erotic books ever written. It illustrates the love between a man and a woman the way God intended it to be. If you are in a relationship and pray that it continues to grow in God’s grace and fullness or want to be in a God fearing relationship one day then I want to encourage you to set aside January 28, 2006. On that day Lori and I will be leading a group of people from FreshStart to Orlando to take part in the Song of Solomon Conference…It is a Bible study of this whole book and will change your relationship life forever! You can go on line at WWW.freshstartchurch.com for the details.
In this verse we are reminded that there are “little foxes” that seek to destroy our love relationships. They are things that sneak into our lives and work quietly (at first) to cause division and destroy. Be on the lookout for the things that bring a wedge into your relationship and deal with them right away! Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts…the enemy knows that so he wants to destroy it!
Have a great day and a good evening…Talk to you in the AM.

Today’s FreshBread – November 28
Today’s Reading is Numbers 3, Psalm 37, Song of Solomon 1, and Hebrews 1
Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 37:5
Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.
Here we go again…I just finished a 20-point E-mail to the staff at church…. Christmas is here! WOW how do things get so busy all of a sudden? We set out to take this Christmas “slow” and before you know it you are in the rat race once again! This would be a GREAT TIME TO STOP…. yes physically stop and talk to the Lord.
Ask the Lord to direct your steps this Christmas season, ask Him to use you, ask Him to slow you down and commit all of your ways to HIM…(be careful with that one as we are giving Him control to use us in the way He sees best). Bank on His Word…commit everything to the Lord and He will help you! To finish well you have to start right…take some time and do that today!
