Today’s Reading is Daniel 7-9
To start a walk with God we offer a prayer of confession! As we continue our journey with God each day we are to confess our sins. In today’s reading Daniel offers one of the best prayers of confession that I have ever heard. Re-read Daniel 9:4-11……how are your times of prayer and confession. God wants us to confess (agree with what he already knows so that we can walk we him in a close relationship! Have a great day! Spend some cleansing time with Jesus today!
Also remember those who gave their lives on the battlefield for our freedom today!

Today’s Reading is Daniel 4-6
Why do you want to do what the Lord commands? Is it fear of what might happen to you? Is it the hope of getting blessed by God? Might it be to gain something? Motivation is so important because it reveals our heart. When the King asked Daniel to interpret his dream, the King wanted to give Daniel a bunch of STUFF…Daniel told him, you can keep your stuff, I just want to tell you what your dream means. Daniel was motivated with a Godly motivation! What is your motivation today…Godly, or selfish? Have a great day!

Today’s Reading is Daniel 1-3
God lead Daniel into a tough situation! But He knew Daniel was up for the challenge. You and I have some tough issues to face also. We find ourselves in some spots where decisions are very important. The Bible says that Daniel handled the situations he faced with wisdom and discretion. These gifts are developed over time. When we seek God in the small things in this life He gives us the ability to follow Him in the larger things. What do you do when you face tough situations? To use wisdom and discretion will take a desire to seek God daily!
