Today’s Reading is Psalm 21-25

In today’s reading we read through Psalm 23. This has to be the most popular of all Psalms. However the one that I really want you to work through slowly today is Psalm 22.

Have you ever wondered what Jesus meant when from the cross He said, “My God, My God why have you forsaken me?” Well, many people believe he was quoting the entire Psalm 23. Read through it again hearing Jesus say the whole Psalm from the cross….WOW will it touch you.

Today’s Reading is Psalm 17-20

The Psalmist says that the Lord examined his thoughts and heart at night. Nighttime is when no one else is around. What do you do and think about when no one can see you or find out what you are doing? Are you willing to allow those thoughts to be examined by God?

The Psalmist goes on to say that he wants the words of his mouth and even the thoughts in his heart to be pleasing to God. Oh if we all strived for that each day! The things we spoke to each other or thought in the darkness of our lives, if these things would be pleasing to God, oh how our life would change!

Have a great day!

Today’s Reading is Psalm 9-16

Where do you go when you’re in trouble? Where do you hide? Where do you get protection? The psalmist says…The Lord is my Refuge! Wherever you hide, that is what you put in God’s place. So…If you hide in an addiction, that is your refuge and your god. If you hide in a relationship, that may be your god. We need to stop hiding in the wrong places, and hide ourselves in Christ! God alone is our refuge. Only He will protect! Run to God alone!

Have a Great day!
